Site work for a water / sewer project in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project involves replacing an existing 12-inch diameter cast iron water main with approximately 70 linear feet of 12-inch diameter ductile iron pipe at a deeper depth below the streambed crossing the East Branch of Red Clay Creek in Anson B. Nixon Park. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent of the bid. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state. Bids must be submitted unconditionally, and no bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this project.
