Renovation of an educational facility in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of January 28, 2026, the project was awarded to the following subcontractor: Gaudelli Bros., Inc. - $1,364,000.00 Guy M Cooper, Inc - $210,000.00 S.B. Conrad, Inc - $433,000.00 Schipsi Electric LLC - $306,500.00 ,with an awarded amount of $2,313,500.00** Replacement of (5) Rooftop Heat Recovery Units with Dedicated Outside Air System that is an air cooled, DX Rooftop Unit with hot gas reheat, with an energy recovery wheel, and natural gas fired furnace for heating. Re-use existing ductwork. Replace Library RTU with air cooled DX Rooftop unit with hot gas reheat to address humidity, energy recovery wheel as needed per energy code, and natural gas fired furnace for heating. Re-use existing ductwork. All new RTUs to be air cooled DX with hot gas reheat, energy recovery (as needed per code), with natural gas fired furnace for heating. Unionville Elementary School HVAC Renovations - Plumbing Construction. Question Deadline 12/05/2025 at 4:00 PM ET Questions will be received at online. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 10 percent (10%) of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days or 120 days if the bid award is delayed by the required approval of another government agency after opening of the bids. Failure to do so bidder agrees to forfeit to the Owner the attached cash, cashier's check, certified check, U.S money order, or bid bond as liquidated damages for such failure after opening of bids. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. Successful bidder shall begin the procurement and submittal process on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to liquidated damages. a. Construction Start: 15 June 2026 - Contractors to allow for fluctuation of three (3) business days in this date. b. Substantial Completion: 07 August 2026 c. Full and Final Completion: 21 August 2026 Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
