Scope of Work: Includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, services, and incidentals for infrastructure improvements for Utility Analysis Zone 225 and 226. The work includes, but is not limited to, site preparation, earthwork, abandonment of existing water and sanitary sewer, water systems installation, sewer system installation and rehabilitation, lift station rehabilitation, roadway and walkway restoration and construction, landscape restoration, restoring existing irrigation systems, pavement marking restoration and site furnishings. Vendors are strongly encouraged to provide all files at time of submittal, including those listed as “optional” in BPRO. Vendor MUST submit its solicitation response electronically through BPRO and receive a Submission Receipt. It is solely the Vendor’s responsibility to ensure its response is submitted and received through BPRO by the closing date and time. The County will not consider solicitation responses received by other means. Vendors are encouraged to submit in advance of the closing date and time. SCOPE A. The WORK to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing and installing all tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles and furnishing all labor, transportation, and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications, and performing all work, or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. The WORK shall be complete, and all work, materials, and services not expressly indicated or called for in the Contract Documents which may be necessary for the complete and proper construction of the WORK in good faith shall be provided by the CONTRACTOR as though originally so indicated, at no increase in cost to the OWNER. 1.02 WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The work of this Contract comprises of the construction of the infrastructure site work. The work will include but not be limited to site preparation, earthwork, abandonment of existing water and sanitary sewer, water systems installation, sewer system installation and rehabilitation, lift station rehabilitation, roadway and walkway restoration and construction, landscape restoration, restoring existing irrigation systems, pavement marking restoration and site furnishings. B. UAZ 225/226 falls within the limits of the City of Deerfield Beach and Pompano Beach. It is bordered by Interstate Highway I-95 to the east, SR-834 (Sample Road) to the south, NW 43rd St to the north, and the C-1 Canal bordering the west. Exhibit 1 (Appendix T) depicts the location of both UAZ 225 and UAZ 226 with respect to the City’s boundaries and the major roadways. Further coordination will be held with the cities of Deerfield Beach and Pompano Beach throughout the design and construction of the proposed water and sanitary sewer mains. All Vendors responding to this solicitation are required to utilize CBE firms to perform the assigned participation goal for this contract.
