Work to be performed includes the precise horizontal saw cutting or trimming of concrete sidewalk to remove trip hazards in accordance with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Sidewalk trip hazards are defined as a vertical change greater than one quarter inch at any joint or crack. The work shall be physically complete within 220 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to proceed. All bidding and construction are to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions for this project and any addenda issued thereto. Sealed proposals will be received at 15728 Main Street, Mill Creek, Washington. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Contract Provisions and must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, money order, or bid bond payable to the City of Mill Creek in an amount not less than five percent of the total amount bid. Bidders are required to register to receive automatic email notification of addenda and be placed on the Bidders List. Bids and Supplemental Bidder Responsibilities documents can be mailed or hand delivered to Mill Creek City Hall South at 15728 Main Street; hand deliveries must be made to the Passport Counter at City Hall South. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities and to award the Project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
