The City of Greenville requests bids for a low voltage wiring integrator/installer. The selected bidder will be responsible for designing new sites for low voltage wiring and performing other miscellaneous tasks. The contractor must be a Belden Certified System Vendor (CSV) for all copper infrastructure (Cat6 and Cat6A cabling) and all fiber-based projects must use Corning fiber, terminations, and enclosures. All fiber installations must be fusion-spliced in Corning cassettes and installed in Corning fiber enclosures. All Copper and Fiber must be certified with a Fluke DSX 8000 tester or higher, and all connections must be labeled in the field. After completion, the Belden CSV must provide a PDF detailing all connections and their labels.
