The scope of work includes the installation of a new pre-fabricated booster pump station, yard piping, valves, access road, and related appurtenances. Each BIDDER must deposit with his Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. A. High strength, precision support of machine bases and soleplates, setting anchor bolts, including equipment subject to thermal movement and repetitive dynamic loading. B. Work includes providing a non-shrink, ready-to-use, fluid precision epoxy grout material; proportioned, pre-mixed and packaged at the factory; delivered to the job site to place with only the addition of water; forming, placing and curing as specified in this section. A. The scope of work includes the installation of a new pre-fabricated booster pump station, yard piping, valves, access road, and related appurtenances. B. The Contractor shall include all materials, labor and equipment necessary for completion of the Project. The Contract Documents are intended to provide the basis for proper completion of the work suitable for the intended use of the Owner. Anything not expressly set forth but which is reasonably implied or necessary for proper performance of the Project shall be included. C. Continuous Operations: The existing system must be maintained in continuous operation in such a manner that it meets all local, state, and federal requirements. The Contractor is responsible not to deactivate, demolish, or interfere with any system required for the continuous operation until a temporary or new permanent-like system has been installed and is operational. The Contractor is responsible for payment of all fines resulting from any action or inaction on his part or the part of his subcontractors during performance of the Work that is illegal. D. The following major Work items are included in the Contract: 1. Pre-fabricated booster pump station installation. 2. Yard piping installation. 3. Valve installation A. Various sizes, types and quality of crushed stone aggregates are specified in this Section depending on applicability which may be specified in detail in other sections of these Specifications. B. The Utilities Board may require the use of crushed stone aggregates for purposes other than those specified in this or other Specification sections if such use is advisable. The contractor shall furnish and install one (1) - factory built, factory delivered, above-ground water booster pump station, in a modular building with base frame on a structural base with all necessary internal piping, valves, fittings, supports, meters, control valves, pumps, motors, controls, and other necessary appurtenances as shown on the plans and specified herein. The station shall be complete when delivered and will not require internal contractor construction except to install the power service through the service entrance conduit provided for that purpose and to connect the main water service to the required points and other work as may be listed in the Section for CONTRACTORS INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS.
