Firms interested in being considered for an interview for this project must submit Form 115 through the State’s eMACS system. Information in addition to the 115 is acceptable. Submissions must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. on the deadline specified. Late submissions may be rejected. Selection will follow the procedure outlined in 18-8-204 MCA. Firms selected for an interview will receive project-specific initial information, interview topics or questions, and the interview schedule. These firms will present their credentials before an interview committee, which will submit the names of three qualified firms to the Department of Administration Director for final selection in accordance with 18-2-112 MCA. The scope includes the construction of a 4,653 square foot Vehicle Paint and Prep Shop for the Combined Support Maintenance Shop at Fort William Henry Harrison, Helena, Montana. The facility is to support onsite maintenance and training for the Montana Army National Guard. It must comply with industry standards and all local, State, and Federal building codes. Construction includes utility services, information systems, fire detection and alarm systems, aprons, walks, curbs, gutters, storm drainage, and site improvements. The facility must be designed for a minimum 50-year life per Department of Defense Unified Facilities Code (UFC 1-200-02), incorporate energy efficiencies, meet building envelope and integrated building systems performance standards, and comply with LEED Silver rating and applicable antiterrorism standards. The facility will be situated to minimize utility runs, avoid floodplains, and connect to existing access. Rigid pavement is to be used for aprons, walks, and curbs.
