A. General: Project name is PBRB ROOM 350 DEMO & LAB for the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Birmingham, Alabama, as shown on the Contract Documents. B. Contract Documents: Indicate the work of the Contract and related requirements and conditions that have an impact on the project. Related requirements and conditions that are indicated on the Contract Documents include, but are not necessarily limited to the following 1. Existing site conditions and restrictions on use of the site. 2. Demolition of existing improvements, where indicated or required to accommodate the new Work. C. Summary by References: Work of the Contract can be summarized by references to the Contract, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions (if any), the Project Manual, Technical Specification Sections, Drawings, Addenda and modifications to the Contract Documents issued subsequent to the initial printing of this Project Manual and the Drawings, and including but not necessarily limited to printed material referenced by any of these. It is recognized that the Work of the Contract is also unavoidably affected or influenced by governing regulations, natural phenomenon including weather conditions, and other forces outside the contract documents. D. Abbreviated Written Summary: Briefly and without force and effect upon the contract documents, the Work of the Contract can be summarized as follows: 1.
