Project consists of work at all schools in the district. Work consists of: Replacing all existing Wireless Access Points (WAPS), adding new WAPs, providing and upgraded licensing for the WAPS being installed, and removing existing WAP Controllers. Bids will be accepted in the manner specified. Each bid must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized Familiar Disclosure Statement completed by the bidder disclosing any familiar relationships between the Owner or any employee of the Bidder and any member of the District’s Board of Education or the Superintendent of the District. Contractors are responsible to review information on all drawings and specifications. All RFI’s must be directed to Bret Emerson at Commtech Design. Bidders submitting a Bid must be a reputable, recognized organization, with at least five years of successful experience on work of this type and scope; must have a license where required; and must have ample financial resources for work of this magnitude. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security or bond in an amount not less than 5% of the Bid amount. The successful Bidder will be required to secure Performance, Labor and Material bonds for all contracts exceeding $50,000 from a surety company having a rating of A- or better, for the full amount of the Contract. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part; to award contract to other than the low bidder; to waive any irregularities and/or informalities; and in general to make awards in any manner deemed to be in the best interests of the owner.
