Renovation of a municipal facility in South Haven, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Bids to renovate the former fire station garage located on the west side of the current Casco Township Hall. The Casco Township Hall is located at 7104 107th Ave, South Haven, 49090. The goal of the renovation is to level the floor, replace the HVAC, and make the area safe and accessible for senior use by adding new doors and restrooms. The renovated space will be used by Casco seniors as a site for millage-funded programs conducted by Senior Services of Van Buren County. The area will also be available for general Township use for elections and meetings. The building, constructed in the mid-1980s, housed the fire department until South Haven Area Emergency Services (SHAES) moved to a more central location in Casco Township in 2010.
