Accessible Boardwalk Development Porter Legacy Dunes Project Description: Creation of a 6' accessable elevated boardwalk through the area dunes to platform. The scope of project will generally consist of the follow work: A. The purpose of this project is to build an elevated boardwalk to access a platformat thetop of the dune so the public can experience views of Lake Michigan. B. The project is designed with the intent to to keep the existing ground surface elevations, conditions and vegetative covering as it is. C. The elevated boardwalk and platform will be supported by helical piers that will be hand bore without need for equipment or excavation. D. Construction to begin ASAP after notice of award. E. EGLE permitting has been approved for the platform. Boardwalk is exempt due to use of hand equipment for installation. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. General Contract. F. Basis of Design: Wickcraft or proven and approved equal. Question Deadline 05/02/2025 at 10:00 AM ET Bidders Questions: Architect will receive bidding questions submitted via email on the Bid Request for Information (BRFI) form located on Bid Roomsite only. Send all Bidding RFI forms to: abadmin@abonmarche.com. Questions need tobe received three days prior to bid date and time.
