The extent of the work consists of the construction or other effectuation of the following items and related preparatory and subsidiary work: Mobilization/Demobilization, Traffic Control, Install Construction Entrance, Clearing and Grubbing, Common Earthwork, Aggregate Bedding for 8" Sanitary Sewer Pipe, Construction of 8" PVC Sanitary Sewer Pipe, 8" x 8" Wye, Sanitary Sewer Manhole Tap, 54" I.D. Sanitary Sewer Manhole, Frame and Solid Manhole Cover, 8" Pipe Plug, Sanitary Sewer Tap, Aggregate Bedding and Foundation Rock for Trench Stabilization (if necessary), Trench Excavation of Unsuitable Material (if necessary), Curb Inlet Protection, Concrete Washout, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan Maintenance Allowance, Remove Curb, Subgrade Preparation, Unsuitable Subgrade Material (if necessary), Install Geotextile Fabric, 7" and 9" Concrete Pavement (Type OPW 3500), Aggregate Bedding for various sizes of Storm Sewer Pipe (18"-42"), Construction of various sizes of RCP and pipe plugs, 54" and 72" I.D. Storm Manhole, Curb Inlet Types I and III, Adjust Sanitary Sewer Manhole to Grade, External Frame Seal on Sanitary Sewer Manhole, Clean Sanitary Sewer Pipe, Seeding, Rolled Erosion Control, Permanent Preformed Tape Symbol, Install Traffic Posts and Signs. All work is to be furnished in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications prepared by Thompson, Dreessen & Dorner, Inc., Engineers for the District. Each bid must be accompanied in a separate sealed envelope by a certified check or a bid bond in the specified amount as evidence of good faith. Bids will only be accepted from those listed on the planholders lists kept at the Engineer's office and the offices of Standard Digital Imaging / StandardSHARE. The District reserves the right to waive formalities and to reject all or any bids. The Engineer's estimate of the construction or other effectuation of all of such improvements is $950,000.00.
