Renovation of an educational facility in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The work includes demolition of two existing chillers, condensing units, and piping, as well as demolition of two existing chilled water pumps, an expansion tank, and associated piping. All demolition scrap and debris must be removed and properly disposed of. The project involves installation of a new 200 Ton chiller and cooling tower, four associated pumps with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and piping, two new chilled water pumps with VFDs, and an expansion tank with piping. Also included is the installation of a new refrigerant evacuation system for the new chiller room with ductwork and two exhaust fans, a new unit heater for the chiller room with piping, and a new support structure for the cooling tower.
