Sealed proposals will be received for the furnishing of all labor, materials, use of Contractor's equipment, plant and all else necessary to construct all improvements generally designated as THE HILL STORM SEWER AND PAVING - SECTION 5. The extent of the work consists of the construction or other effectuation of specific listed items and related preparatory and subsidiary work from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Work includes mobilization/demobilization, temporary traffic control, excavation, removal and installation of various pavement and storm sewer items, adjustment and installation of manholes, concrete collars, geotextile fabric, aggregate bedding, foundation rock, and related tasks. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of $62,000 as evidence of good faith. The bidder whose proposal is accepted must enter into contract within ten days after Notice of Award and furnish an acceptable bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid price. No proposals may be withdrawn for thirty days after the date set for opening of bids. Plans and specifications may be obtained at specified locations at the bidder's expense, and only bids from those on plan holders lists will be accepted. The awarding authority reserves the right to waive formalities and to reject any or all bids. Question Deadline 01/02/2026 Written requests for interpretation or clarification of any portion of the contract documents shall be answered by the engineer with Addenda, if such requests are received more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled bid opening time.
