Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Wayne Township, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
A 5% bid bond or certified check shall be required with the bid, made payable to the Wayne County Board of Commissioners and will be held as evidence that the bidder will, if awarded the contract, enter into the same with the OWNER upon notification to the bidder to do so. The successful Bidder shall provide a 100% performance bond and a payment bond equal to the contract price to ensure the payment of subcontractors, material suppliers, contract laborers and persons furnishing services will be required upon award of contract. Bidders must be prequalified by the Indiana Department of Transportation for the type of work being bid. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for opening bids without the written consent of the OWNER for a period of 30 days. ) The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all informalities, irregularities, or omissions in any or all bids.
