Renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Rowley, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; municipal facility; educational facility; and municipal facility.
Sealed proposals are invited for the SCSD Career Center Addition and Renovation and the SCSD Administration Renovation and Addition. Plans and specifications are on file and can be obtained from Dean Architecture, P.A. or the Planroom at Jackson Blueprint Co. Proposals must be submitted on Bid Forms provided with the specifications, and the bidder's current Certificate of Responsibility Number must appear on the outside of the sealed envelope. Each proposal must include a bid bond or certified check for 5% of the bid amount, payable to the Smith County School District. A Payment and Performance Bond equal to 100% of the contract price is required from the successful bidder. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, best, and acceptable bidder, but the Smith County School District reserves the right to waive informality and to reject any or all bids. A. Project Name: PN: 24071 SCSD Career Center Addition and Renovation. B. Project Name: PN: 25039 SCSD Administration Renovation and Addition C. Owner's Name: Smith County School District. D. Architect's Name: Dean Architecture, P.A.. E. The Project consists of the following projects: 1. PN: 24071 - The project includes an addition and renovations to the existing Smith County Career Center as indicated in consruction drawings and specifications. The project includes all general contruction, civil, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work per plans and specifications. This project also includes a new Fire Alarm System for Raleigh High School as per plans and specifications. 2. PN: 25039 - The project includes the interior renovation and an addition to the existing Raleigh Elementary Gymnasium for the purpose of relocating the SCSD Administrative Offices as indicated in construction drawings and specifications. The project includes all general construction, civil, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work per plans and specifications. 1.02 CONTRACT DESCRIPTION A. Contract Type: A single prime contract based on a Stipulated Price as described in Document 005200 - Agreement Form.
