Fayetteville Public Utilities (FPU) is accepting sealed proposals for the installation of underground services to customer premises. Proposals must be sealed and marked "Buried Drops." Emailed proposals will not be accepted. Fayetteville Public Utilities reserves the right to reject all proposals. Buried drops include: _ COAX - Bury drop up to a maximum of 250 feet, and installation of new connectors. _ Fiber - Bury drop and price according to footage. The following applies to all drops (COAX and fiber): _ All bores, digging, and wire placement on poles or the structure to which the drop is buried. The drop will be buried in the pedestal and come through the bottom of the pedestal. The pedestal should not rest on the drop. _ The drop will be at least 12 inches deep unless it is not possible to bury deeper due to terrain or landscaping restraints. In fields or open spaces, bury as deep as possible to protect against damage by farm equipment, excavation, etc. _ Transfer of drop tags and changeover from a temporary drop, if required.
