The board of County Commissioners of Faulk County, South Dakota will receive sealed bids for a year's supply of 10% unleaded gas in transport loads and a year's supply of No. 2 and No. 1 diesel fuel in transport loads for the County Highway Department. There is also an option for bidding remote sites (Cresbard & Seneca) for a 1-year supply, approximately 5,500 gallons. Successful bidders must submit verification of current prices on each delivery if the bid is cost plus. Specifications and bid proposals can be obtained at the County Highway Office. Bids must include no tax, cost plus on the day of delivery if not a solid bid for all year, F.O.B. locations listed. All transport loads can be turned in immediately to the Auditor’s office. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any defects in the best interest of the County. Envelopes should be marked 'SEALED FUEL BID.' A year is defined as running from the current bid letting date to the following year's bid letting.
