Renovation of a detention facility in Blountville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Sealed bids are invited for the Sullivan County Jail HVAC Replacement project. Bidders may obtain bid documents in PDF format from the Architect, Thompson & Litton, by email request to Mary Darnell. Bidders are allowed to print and copy these files for preparing bids. Documents will also be available at specified locations. All bids must be received in a sealed envelope with the Bid Envelope Cover Sheet attached and completed. The outside of the envelope must display the Bidder's name, license number, classification, date of expiration, and a description of the relevant license classification; as well as the names, license numbers, expiration dates, and license classifications of any Geothermal, HVAC, Masonry, Plumbing, Mechanical, Sprinkler, Electrical, and Roofing subcontractors. If no subcontractors are used, the envelope must state, "No Subcontractors are being used on this project." A bid bond or certified check amounting to five percent of the total bid is required. Certified checks should be made payable to Sullivan County Trustee. The successful bidder must execute Performance and Payment Bonds equal to 100% of the contract price. All bidders must be licensed Tennessee Contractors as required by law. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality or irregularity, and to accept or reject any or all bid items.
