Disclaimer: IN ORDER FOR YOUR BID TO BE CONSIDERED A LEGAL BONAFIDE BIDDER ON THE PROJECT, DOCUMENTS MUST BE PURCHASED FROM REMINGTON, VERNICK ENGINEERS DIRECTLY Sealed bids are requested for the Crest Memorial School Library / STEAM Lab Renovations in the Borough of Wildwood Crest, Cape May County, New Jersey. Bidders must obtain bid forms, contracts, and specifications through Remington & Vernick Engineers. All construction must be completed, demobilized, and the site restored before the start of the 2026-2027 school year. The contractor must provide additional crews or workforce as needed to meet the mandatory project schedule at no extra cost to the owner. Bids must be submitted on the specified bid form, enclosed in sealed envelopes with the bidder's name, address, and reference to the work on the outside. Each bid must include a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount not less than 10% and not more than $20,000 of the bid amount, as well as a Certificate of Consent of Surety. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Schools Development Authority and the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction, with valid classification certificates. Compliance is required with all Federal, State, and Local regulations, including Affirmative Action, New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Public Works Contractor Registration Act, and Business Registration. Disclosure statements listing stockholders must be included. No bids may be withdrawn for 60 days after opening. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality, in accordance with the law.
