Sealed proposals are requested for the Reconstruction of Bayview Drive. Proposals must be submitted using the standard Proposal Forms as specified. They must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the bidder's name and address, and the name of the work, addressed to the Clerk, Borough of Wildwood Crest. Proposals must include a statement of Consent of Surety from an authorized surety, and either a Bid Bond, Certified, or Cashier's Check for not less than ten percent of the bid amount, up to $20,000. A performance bond for the full amount of the project is required from the successful bidder. The successful bidder will be required to execute a contract and provide a surety bond equal to the contract price, to be approved by the Borough Solicitor. Bidders must comply with Affirmative Action requirements, certification regarding investment activities in Iran, the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Americans with Disability Act, Worker and Community Right-to-Know Act, Stockholder Disclosure Certification, Business Registration Certification, Public Works Contractors Registration, Consent of Surety, Addendum Acknowledgement, and provide a Subcontractors List. The Borough reserves the right to consider bids for sixty days and to reject any or all bids or waive informalities. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. Such request shall be in writing, addressed to the Owner's representative stipulated in the specification.
