The scope of work includes construction projects at various locations throughout New York State, covering Albany, Bronx, Broome, Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Dutchess, Greene, Onondaga, Orange, Oswego, Otsego, Putnam, Queens, Rensselaer, Richmond, Rockland, Seneca, Suffolk, Sullivan, Tompkins, Ulster, and Westchester counties. Projects cited include bridge washing, highway pedestrian safety improvements, pedestrian safety improvements, highway resurfacing, pavement resurfacing, pavement preventative maintenance, retaining wall improvement, bridge rail replacement, intersection improvements, and bridge painting. Each project specifies the required bid deposit and established goals for participation by DBE, MBE, WBE, and SDVOB as appropriate. Instructions to bidders: Sealed bids are to be received as set forth in the instructions to bidders. Bids may be submitted via internet or in person, and every bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or bank cashier's check payable to the NYS Department of Transportation in the amount shown on the proposal title page. Bonds must be on the specified form. Electronic bids must include electronic bonds. Contractors are responsible for ensuring all amendments are incorporated into their bid.
