Upgrades to twelve structures including 11 bridges and a complex culvert as well as the execution of related mandates within the framework of the Billy-Diamond road bridge rehabilitation project for the period from 2026 to 2028: Bell River Bridge (approximately km 3); Waswanipi River Bridge (approximately km 40); Broadback River Bridge (approximately km 235); Rupert River Bridge (approximately km 257); Pontax III River Bridge (approximately km 294); Pontax I River Bridge (approximately km 306); Pontax II River Bridge (approximately km 312); Jolicoeur River Bridge (approximately km 326); Eastmain River Bridge (approximately km 394); Opinaca River Bridge (approximately km 411); Vieux-Comptoir River Culvert (approximately km 464); Castor River Bridge (approximately km 545). TIMELINE: Contract for engineering services to complete design and monitor construction work has been awarded following request for proposals # SD25-5050-1. Reference number: 20090974. Priority interventions will be carried out starting in 2026, depending on the level of urgency and the condition of the structures. The remaining work will be completed from 2027 to 2028. Further update in late 2026.
