Section 2.8 of the instructions to service providers, which requires service providers to hold the Revenu Quebec attestation, stipulates that the attestation is valid until the end of the three-month period following the month in which it was issued. In addition, the attestation must not have been issued after the date and time set for the receipt of tenders. The winter maintenance work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the transportation and preparation of abrasives, snow removal from the roadway and its shoulders, mechanical and chemical de-icing of the roadway, handling of abrasives and ice melters at the road maintenance centre, snow removal from road signs, road cleaning, water drainage work, thawing of culverts, marking of bumps, repair of potholes and road inspection. The contract begins on October 1, 2025 and ends on April 30, 2026.
