Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Parks, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
The work consists of the construction of a new water well, chlorination system, building, piping, generator, and other miscellaneous work for St. Martin Parish, the City of St. Martinville, and St. Martin Parish Consolidated Waterworks District No. 4. Bids must be submitted either by mail or online prior to the specified deadline. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the specified location. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee equivalent to 5% of the bid price, which may be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, money order, or other negotiable instrument. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. All contractors and subcontractors must have an active Unique Entity ID (SAM) as verified on www.sam.gov prior to beginning construction and for the duration of the contract. Only bids from contractors licensed under Louisiana Contractor's Licensing Law R.S. 37:2150-2173 for bids exceeding $50,000 will be considered. If the bid exceeds $50,000, evidence of a license with the proper classification of "Municipal and Public Works Construction" must be submitted when requesting drawings, specifications, and forms from the engineers. Contract documents are available upon payment, and deposits are refundable under specified conditions.
