The intent is to obtain competitive pricing for the supply and delivery of bank run shell and crushed concrete materials to the Babcock/Webb WMA, in accordance with specified requirements. Only responsive and responsible contractors will be considered. Bids must be definite, firm, unqualified, and unconditional offers to meet all material terms, which may affect price, quantity, quality, or delivery and those identified as material for policy reasons. Bids that do not comply, lack required signed forms, supplements, deviate from requirements, or have incomplete price sheets may be deemed nonresponsive. Responsible vendors are those judged by the Commission to have the financial ability, experience, resources, skills, capability, reliability, and business integrity required for the contract. The Commission may consider references and quality, using any information, submitted or otherwise obtained, in the evaluation. Bids must include all necessary equipment to complete the job, and the bidder must supply all specified documentation when submitting a bid. Certified minority-owned, woman-owned, and service-disabled veteran business enterprises, as certified by the State of Florida Office of Supplier Development, are encouraged to participate. Bidders must be registered in MyFloridaMarketPlace and, if required, Sunbiz prior to bid opening. The registration address and FEID number must match those on the Bidder Acknowledgment form. Only sealed bids received before the deadline will be considered. The Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive minor irregularities.
