Scope of Work of the Contract includes the installation of approximately 18,500 feet of water reuse pipelines from the City of Katy's wastewater treatment plant, sizes ranging from 6-inch to 12-inch. The project consists of five segments: from the Wastewater Plant to Main Street, along Main Street and Kingsland, extending to Heritage Lane and Prairie Parkway, with spurs to Boardwalk Park and Heritage Lane, and a full loop around Katy Mills Circle. In addition to the water reuse pipeline, this project also includes the reconfiguration of the mall entrance drives, by closing in certain entrances as shown in the plans. The bid shall include all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals required for the project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except the time for submitting a Bid. The successful bidder, if any, will be the responsible bidder, which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code, may apply to this Bid and the bidder agrees that the Contract Documents can be terminated if the bidder knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with a requirement of that subchapter.
