The work includes furnishing all labor, equipment and materials necessary to complete the work including the removal and replacement of approximately 2,800 joist hangers, resetting of existing joists, securing of 6 rail posts, and all incidental construction at Kensington Metropark in Oakland County, Michigan. Bids shall be submitted on the form included in the bidding documents, and shall be accompanied by a Cashier’s Check, Certified Check or Bid Bond underwritten by a surety licensed in the State of Michigan, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a contract. After the time of opening, no bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or formalities and to make award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Authority.
