Sealed bids are invited for the new construction of the Penn Harris Madison Transportation Center Tanks. Bids must be submitted on forms provided and executed in accordance with the Indiana Board of Accounts Form No. 96 and include a satisfactory bid bond or certified check for not less than five percent (5%) of the total price. Bid security must be delivered in a sealed envelope labeled with the bidder's name and address. Construction is to be in full accord with drawings and specifications, which are available from the designated printing company, with a refundable deposit policy for printed sets and a non-refundable fee for electronic media. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and a one hundred percent (100%) Labor and Materials Payment Bond. These bonds shall remain effective for twelve months from the date of acceptance of the work. No discrimination in employment practices will be permitted. Submissions of substitutions for specified products are permitted if written approval is received prior to bid opening and all requirements for substitutions are met. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to waive informalities or errors in bidding for sixty days after bid opening. RFI: Request for Information.
