Site work for a recreation facility in Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a recreation facility.

Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of at least 10 percent (10%) of the total bid. The existing paved basketball courts at Ball Park Road and Akenac Park will be removed and replaced with a full-depth court section. The basketball hoop footings and posts will be replaced with new rims, nets, and backboard installed. The existing softball field dugouts along Ball Park Road will be enclosed with heavy duty, waterproof wind screens. The existing softball field backstop fence will be repaired or, alternatively, replaced. The existing paved tennis courts at Akenac Park will be removed and replaced with a full-depth court section, coated, and striped for play. Two (2) tennis courts will remain, and one (1) tennis court will be converted to four (4) pickleball courts. New footings, posts, and nets will be installed. The Base Bid court surface colors are blue and green. Alternative bids are requested for tan and green, and gray and green court surface colors. An alternate bid is provided for the Import and Placement of Topsoil should it be required. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond and Labor and Material Bond in an amount of 100% of the contract amount. A Certificate of Insurance, showing proof of Workers Compensation Coverage, must also be submitted. The project will require minimum wages and salaries to meet the PA Prevailing Wage requirements. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Delaware Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informalities, or take such other action that may deem to be in the best interest of the Township and as may be permitted by law. Bids may be held by the Township for a period of 60 days from date of Bid opening for the purpose of reviewing Bids and investigating qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding Contract. All questions concerning the bid documents or the project in general should be submitted through Online to the Township Engineer, at T&M Associates no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, May 4, 2026.
