Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Berea, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of February 20, 2026, project was awarded to The Great Lakes Group, awarded amount is $2,676,455.96. Bids will be received for this Project, which includes the following: Slope repair, provide embankment and borrow material, installation of drilled shaft wall, installation of temporary sheet piling wall, regrading of existing slope, repair of mainline catch basins and associated conduits; reinstallation and upgrade of existing guardrail; permanent pavement striping, temporary traffic control and all other items incidental to the completion of the Work. All Work is to be performed as per the Plans, Drawings, Specifications, Special Provisions, Technical Specifications, and other Contract Documents for this Project. Pollution Liability Insurance is required under GC Art. 11.1.3 for this Project. Prevailing Wage Rates and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements apply to this Project. The Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Goal applicable to this Project is 10%. Failure to certify a commitment to meet the SBE Goal or failure to satisfactorily demonstrate Good Faith Efforts used to attain SBE participation for this project shall be grounds for the Commission to consider the Bid nonresponsive and may cause the Bid to be rejected. A Contract will be awarded, if any award be made, to the Bidder determined to have submitted the lowest responsive and responsible Bid for the performance of the Work. The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive minor irregularities or technical deficiencies. Question Deadline 01/09/2026 Bidders should submit all questions no later than seven (7) days prior to Bid Opening. Any question, other than a request for interpretation or clarification as provided in paragraph IB 2.3, shall be submitted to the Commission in writing, by electronic mail at purchasing@ohioturnpike.org. In order to prevent an extension of the Bid Opening, the Bidder must deliver all questions a minimum of seven (7) days before the Bid Opening
