Renovation of a military facility in Independence, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Design and construction of an Energy Resilience Conservation Investment Program microgrid and Combined Heat and Power system to improve energy resilience and mission assurance. The work includes development of a resilient microgrid capable of supporting critical loads, integration of Combined Heat and Power generation, associated electrical distribution, power and communication line infrastructure, and all related structures and systems necessary for operation. Construction magnitude is anticipated between $25 million and $100 million and is expected to be at the upper end of this range. The project is procured under NAICS 237130, Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction, as a full and open competition with a HUBZone price evaluation preference. Access to the full solicitation, including plans and specifications, is restricted due to the presence of Controlled Unclassified Information. Contractors and subcontractors are required to process, store, or transmit Federal Contract Information and Controlled Unclassified Information and must meet Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Level 2 (Self) or higher. CMMC Level 2 (Self) certification must be current, verifiable in the Supplier Performance Risk System at the time of award, and applicable to each information system used in contract performance. Only firms that meet this requirement are eligible to receive the restricted solicitation package and be considered for award. Bidder inquiries are required to be submitted through ProjNet in accordance with the instructions provided in the solicitation. A single site visit is scheduled, and registration with completed access forms is required by the stated deadline to allow processing of site access. The full solicitation and technical package are made available through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment Solicitation Module following successful verification of CMMC compliance. The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete it within 1014 calendar days. Any questions regarding acceptable means of submitting offers shall be made directly to the Contract Specialist *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
