Renovation of a mixed-use development in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to remove the existing boiler feed pump and install one new Grundfos CR32-7 boiler feed pump at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center, Building 295. The work includes isolating all recirculating lines, unwiring and reconnecting electrical applications, unbolting and removing the old pump and motor, and installing the new pump with proper gaskets and wiring. The contractor must ensure the motor winding rotates in the correct direction, perform lockout/tagout procedures, and test the system for proper operation and leaks. All work must comply with manufacturer recommendations, VA local, state, and federal regulations, and applicable safety standards. The contractor shall leave the boiler room and work area clean and orderly upon completion. The period of performance is 90 days, and work will be conducted during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
