Work consists of replacing the air distribution system for existing rooms served by existing air handling unit AHU-5. Air distribution systems (including exhaust systems) that are currently served supply air from AHU-5 shall be modified and reconfigured. Existing ductwork, exhaust fans, air terminals devices, diffusers/grilles, fume hoods and HVAC system controls shall be removed and replaced as indicated. Modify and reroute existing heating hot water system piping as indicated. Remove and replace insulation on existing heating hot water and chilled water piping in the area of work. Remove existing Deionized piping in the area of work and replace with stainless steel piping. Remove and replace ceilings, ceiling support system, and lighting in the area of work. Remove and replace existing greenhouse evaporative cooling pads as indicated.
