New construction of a municipal facility in Flowood, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility.
Bids will be received for the construction of the New Rankin County Tax Office in Flowood, Mississippi. All work required by the contract documents must be completed in accordance with the instructions to bidders. Bids may be submitted electronically as a PDF via Central Bidding or as sealed bids delivered to the Rankin County Board of Supervisors. Each bid must include the bidder's Certificate of Responsibility Number and a signed bid sheet. Bid security in the form of a Certified Check or acceptable Bid Bond equal to at least five percent (5%) of the Base Bid must accompany each bid, with security to be forfeited as liquidated damages by any bidder who fails to execute a contract and post-Performance and Payment Bonds as required. All bids over $50,000 must comply with Sections 31-3-15 and 31-3-21 of the Mississippi Code of 1972. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities or reject any or all bids. Project value in the $1.8-$2M ballpark. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
