The City of Stockton, California, will receive sealed bids for the Grupe Park Pickleball Courts in accordance with the plans and specifications for Project No. WP25033. Each bid must be on the official bid form and conform to the official bid documents, including the plans and specifications. Each bid must be submitted under sealed cover and accompanied by the Bidder's Guaranty, Non-Collusion Declaration, and all required documents and information. Bidders must possess a valid California contractor's license at the time of bid submission and must retain it throughout the project duration. The successful contractor must obtain and retain a City of Stockton business license during the project. Bids must indicate the project name, number, and bid opening date, and be delivered to the Office of the City Clerk. Late bids will not be accepted. The successful bidder and subcontractors must pay prevailing wage rates per the California Department of Industrial Relations. A contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, subject to the City Council's right to reject any or all bids. The successful bidder must provide a Labor and Material Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond, each for 100% of the contract price, from a company authorized to issue surety bonds in California, using official City forms. This project includes the renovation of existing tennis courts to ten new pickleball courts at Grupe Park. The scope also includes the removal of the existing tennis court posts, installation of a new high-galvanized chain-link fence, and modifications to the existing perimeter fence. Existing benches will be removed, and new benches will be installed. A new conduit will be installed for future electrical work.
