Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Prince George, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Installation of one 18.288 m steel girder superstructure, with composite concrete deck, on steel pipe columns and pre-cast concrete footings on Ramsey Creek FSR. Service will include the removal of the existing steel girder superstructure with timber deck, concrete ballast walls and associated concrete slab sills. Service will include the removal existing cast in place concrete abutments (from previous bridge located at site). Refer to Schedule C Special Provisions in the MAJOR Works Specimen Contract Schedules A thru H. PROJECT LOCATION To access the site from Prince George, travel 118 km south from Prince George on Hwy 97. Turn right onto McLean Street and right on Marsh Dr. in Quesnel. Turn right on Garner Forest Service Road (FSR), travel for approximately 30km and turn right onto Tzenzaicut FSR for 20km to the Ramsey creek crossing. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca Award is subject to final approval.
