The Board is seeking structural engineering services for two projects to be completed in the summer. The projects are: (1) concrete wall and stairs repairs at ÉÉC René-Lamoureux, and (2) exterior brick repairs at ÉSC Monseigneur-de-Charbonnel. For ÉÉC René-Lamoureux, work includes reviewing existing conditions and providing specifications for repairs to concrete walls and stairs, which involves replacement of stair treads, risers, nosing, handrails, and painting metal stringers and balusters. For ÉSC Monseigneur-de-Charbonnel, the scope includes inspection, analysis, and provision of consultant recommendations for remediation of deteriorating bricks and mortar joints, with specifications and drawings for masonry restoration. The consultant must provide: site investigation, structural analysis and design, compliance with relevant codes and standards, sealed structural calculations, design and architectural drawings, cost estimates, tender documents, project management, quality control, and support throughout construction. Regular site visits during critical construction periods and management of the tender process are required. All work must adhere to the Board’s policies, codes, and deliverables as outlined in the bidding documents. Pricing must be all-inclusive. Submission requirements include a signed form, pricing, overall project schedule, proof of insurance, and contact details for key personnel. Subcontractors, if used, must be listed. Electronic and hard copies of final reports are to be provided. All documentation must be uploaded as instructed in the online bidding system.
