The work involves the deployment and operation of a sensor-based event analytics platform for Visit Mississauga to enhance event attendance reporting and visitor engagement measurement at large tourism events. The platform must deliver real-time, objective attendance tracking using specialized sensors, provide customizable dashboards for live monitoring and post-event analysis, enable visitor journey analytics (including dwell times and movement patterns), and produce standardized reports to demonstrate ROI and economic impact. The solution must integrate with existing event management systems, ensure privacy and data security with all data stored in Canada, and include comprehensive support including sensor maintenance, rapid replacement, staff training, and ongoing assistance. Suppliers must demonstrate technical expertise with event analytics solutions, experience with sensor hardware and integrated software, ability to configure and maintain sensor networks, and compliance with City policies for privacy and data security. The process requires a Statement of Capabilities to be submitted through the City’s e-bidding system. Submissions received outside this system or after the deadline will not be accepted. Suppliers should seek clarification before submitting and are responsible for their own preparation costs. The City may cancel the process at any time, and no legal obligations arise until a written agreement is executed. Suppliers are responsible for knowledge of and compliance with all applicable policies and requirements.
