Site work for a water / sewer project in High Point, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of High Point is seeking bids for the West Ray Drainage Improvements project. The work consists of drainage upgrades and related construction activities within the project area near Council Street. The project includes land-disturbing work up to the approved 7 acres and requires furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the drainage improvements as shown in the project plans. Contractors will be responsible for performing all associated grading, excavation, and site restoration needed to deliver a fully completed drainage improvement project. All miscellaneous work related to the above is included. General contractors must comply with North Carolina General Assembly regulations regarding the practice of general contractors. Bidders must include a deposit or bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid and successful bidders are required to furnish performance and payment bonds each for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid submitted. The City will not do business with vendors who discriminate in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
