The City of High Point is seeking a qualified contractor to remove and replace the roof estimated at approximately 8,800 square feet at Fire Station 9 located at 2702 Triangle Lake Rd, High Point, NC. Bid 3005-012826 Station 9 Roof Replacement Project City of High Point Purchasing Division 816 East Green Drive High Point, North Carolina 27260. Completion- 90 calendar days. The City of High Point is actively seeking proposals from qualified and experienced vendor(s) to provide all materials, labor, and equipment for the roof replacement project for the Fire Station #9 Roof Replacement Project located at 2707 Triangle Lake Road, High Point, NC 27260. The roof is approx. 8800 sq ft. The award contractor will: o Obtain all necessary permits and perform work in compliance with all state, local and all OSHA safety guidelines o All work areas to be staged to minimize intrusion of tenant's daily activities o Remove and legally dispose of existing roof system (including edge metal) to the metal deck o Install tapered poly iso roof insulation system starting with R15 minimum thickness at drains o Install (per manufacturer's specifications) white, reinforced, fully adhered, 60 mil thick, TPO roof membrane system o Install required flashings for all existing roof penetrations o Fabricate and install new 24-gauge prefinished perimeter edge metal, coping and counterflashing o Provide a minimum Manufacturer's 20-year system and Contractor's 3-year workmanship warranty upon completion o Price per drain if any need replacing ALTERNATE BID OPTION: o Tear off and dispose of only the upper EPDM roof exposing the original built-up roof below, then install tapered polyiso roof insulation starting at 1/2 " thickness at drains, remainder of spec same as above.
