Description

This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

It is the intent to solicit bids to maintain, clean, disinfect, and sanitize floor surfaces at various locations. Floor care shall be provided for various flooring surfaces such as ceramic, carpet, vinyl tile, rubber tile, cement, etc. See appendix for full detail of flooring types and square footages. The contract term is two years, with the option of two one-year renewals. Pricing must remain firm for the initial two-year term. Bidders must adhere to all requirements and standards outlined in the scope of work/specification and all supporting documentation. Contractors must meet insurance requirements, submit evidence of current insurance coverage with the bid, and complete and return the bidder’s certification form with the company’s corporate seal. All subcontractors must be approved. Contractors must use a labor force that will not cause stoppages or labor disturbances. The successful contractor is responsible for permits and proper installation and must guarantee remedy for defects in workmanship and materials for 12 months after final acceptance. The project requires performance and payment bonds at 100% of the contract amount. The basis of award is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Any incomplete or missing required documents will render the bidder non-responsive.
