Question deadline: 01/13/2026 at 02:00 PM The Imjin Parkway and 3rd Avenue Intersection Improvements Project involves the installation of traffic signal and roadway improvements at the intersection of Imjin Parkway and 3rd Avenue in the City of Marina. The work includes, but is not limited to, installing new traffic signal poles and foundation, traffic signal cabinets and foundation, service cabinets and foundation, traffic signal equipment, pull boxes, traffic signal conduit, conductors and cables, street lighting, installing sidewalk improvements, curb and gutter, ADA curb ramps, reconstruction of medians, reconstructing drainage inlets, and signing and striping improvements. The Contractor shall perform all work necessary to complete the building exterior improvements in accordance with the Contract Documents. All work must be completed within fifty (50) working days from the specified date in the Notice to Proceed, with working days commencing only after all required equipment has been ordered and delivered to the site. If delays occur due to causes beyond the Contractor's control, the time of completion will be extended as decided by the Owner. Bidders must hold a Class "A" or "C-10" Contractor's license. Bidders must submit the bid proposal including completed forms A3 through A8 and signed addenda acknowledgements, if any. Envelopes and priority mail packages must be clearly marked for bid opening. Potential bidders, subcontractors, and suppliers are responsible for reviewing all bidding documents, including addenda, prior to submitting their bid. The successful Bidder must provide evidence of a current Cal/OSHA T-1 trenching and excavation permit within five days after bid opening. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to section 1725.5 of the Labor Code, subject to limited legal exceptions under Labor Code section 1771.1. This contract may also be used to provide unforeseen conditions repairs upon short notice, including emergency trenching and excavation work.
