The work consists of performing stormwater improvements and partial flood mitigation upgrades at the Miami-Dade County Data Processing and Communications Center (DPCC), located at 5680 SW 87th Avenue, Miami, FL 33173. The project includes drainage improvements, retrofitting of the existing drainage system, and associated site restoration. Work to be performed includes coordinating activities with existing utility crossings, protecting structures with filter fabric, installing and maintaining erosion and turbidity barriers, excavating and removing existing drainage structures, installing new drainage structures with pollution retardant baffles, installing HDPE pipes and exfiltration trenches, coring and drilling for sump pump connections, installing backfill material, drainage grates and frames, and restoring disturbed pavement areas with base and top coats. All work must comply with Miami-Dade County standards, applicable codes, and project specifications. Contractor must obtain and submit all permits prior to performing any work and is responsible for site safety, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring full restoration of any disturbed areas. Bid shall consist of a Base Bid amount (Lump Sum) inclusive of all permit fees and excluding contingency. Bids must be submitted electronically. Liquidated damages are set at $500 per day. No dedicated allowances, bid bond, or performance and payment bonds are required. Insurance is required. The method of award is to the lowest responsible bidder.
