Work under this Standing Offer Agreement includes the provision of all necessary skilled licensed labour, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision and material for minor construction and repairs at CFB Kingston, including Royal Military College (RMC), Fort Frontenac, and the Kingston and Brockville Armouries. Generally, this will involve general construction and repairs, reactive and preventative repairs, modifications, minor installations, and minor renovation services. Building types include general office complexes, living quarters, classrooms, training facilities, industrial and technical workshops, equipment and vehicle maintenance facilities, supply and storage warehouses, and other military facilities. Contractors must hold a valid Facility Security Clearance at the level of SECRET, issued by the Contract Security Program (CSP), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Defence Construction Canada (DCC) may provide preliminary assistance with the security clearance sponsorship process if contractors are interested in submitting a bid and do not actively hold the required security clearance.
