Trades for Rising Sun on Kroger Field- Corner suites and elevators. Trades include tiling, painting, board/ceilings/floors, doors/hardware, fire suppression, mechanical, electrical, casework/millwork/furnishings, and A/V. The work requires furnishing all labor, materials, supplies, tools, appliances, equipment, and services necessary for construction as set forth in the specifications and shown on the drawings. Bids will be received from Prime Contractors on a Lump Sum Amount for the total project. All phases of the work shall be bid to and through the Prime Contractors. Bids must be submitted on the official proposal form in the order prescribed: Form of Proposal, Acknowledged Addenda, Determination of Responsibility, and Bid Bond. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than five percent of the base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond are required of the successful bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, and Special Conditions. Contractors must submit their bid in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bid invitation number and bid date. Bids received after the scheduled closing time will not be considered. No bidder may withdraw their bid for sixty days after the date set for bid opening. The University of Kentucky reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive formalities or technicalities. Pre-bid conference details, questions submission procedures, and requirements for proposing substitutions are provided. Specifications, plans, and official bid documents are available from Lynn Imaging and must be paid for before documents will be issued. Contractors who receive documents from sources other than Lynn Imaging must request a Form of Proposal to be registered as plan holders and receive addenda.
