Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Paterson, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 30,000-square-foot clubhouse / community center.
Work to be performed as part of the Base Bid shall consist of the gut rehabilitation of a 30,000+ square foot building with all related carpentry, masonry, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, utility, lighting, and site improvements, and other work necessary to complete all Base Bid improvements shown on the project plans. Work to be performed as a part of Alternate Bid shall consist of construction of various building features, all related carpentry, masonry, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, utility, lighting, and site improvements, and other work necessary to complete all Alternate Bid improvements shown on the project plans. Bids must be submitted on the standard Proposal Form provided by NJCDC in the manner designated, and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the title of the bid, name and address of the bidder on the outside, addressed to NJCDC Director of Real Estate, and delivered to 32 Spruce Street, Paterson, NJ prior to the date and time of the bid opening. All documents contained in this package must be returned to NJCDC in their original form. No substitutions, alterations, or modifications of any of the bid documents are permitted. A bid guarantee in the amount of 10% of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, will be required, and may be given by certified check, cashier's check or bid bond. Because federal funds are being used, contractors must comply with the Federal Rider incorporating the Uniform Guidance requirements (2 C.F.R. Part 200), including domestic preference, SAM.gov debarment verification, and required federal contract clauses. All Federal Prevailing Wage Regulations and Federal Labor Standards apply. Contractors must keep all project-related records for at least five years after project closeout. Contractors must also ensure that all subcontractors at every tier comply with the same requirements. New Jersey Community Development Corporation reserves the right to consider bids for sixty days after receipt and reserves the right to waive minor immaterial formalities or to reject any or all proposals in accordance with applicable law. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq.
