It is the intent of the City of Columbus, Department of Recreation and Parks, Parks Maintenance to obtain formal bids to establish a contract for landscape maintenance services. Columbus Recreation and Parks is requesting bids for the landscape maintenance and mowing of the newly renovated downtown bridge caps, including those on Spring Street, Long Street, and East Broad Street, as well as their connecting side streets, Elijah Pierce Ave. and Lester Dr. The contract also covers the south side of Fulton Street between Fourth Street and Washington Boulevard. The areas included are outlined on the attached coverage maps. The scope of work consists of landscaping (yellow), raised bed/container plantings maintenance (orange), and turf mowing (pink). These areas are to be consistently maintained at a high-quality commercial grade level. The contract will provide for the purchase of landscape maintenance services as detailed in the attached requirements. Bidders are required to show experience in providing this type of service as specified.
