Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Columbus, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work consists of demolition of existing equipment and a building, installation of new raw sewage screens, conveyor, compactor, and a new screenings handling building. Additional work includes sluice gate operator replacement, new stop log guides and stop logs, relocation of Main Drain pump discharge, and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract. All questions regarding the bid must reference the project number and name and be sent to the specified email address. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is strongly recommended. Question Deadline 02/09/2026 at 3:00 PM ET Questions pertaining to this Invitation For Bid must be submitted by via email to DPUConstructionBids@columbus.gov. Subcontractor Training and Benefits Requirements Based upon the City's estimated contract amount for this IFB, subcontractors proposed to perform work on the contract comply with the City's Subcontractor Training and Benefits requirements per one of the following: A. The contract amount resulting from this bid is not estimated by the City to exceed $2,000,000.00. The City's Subcontractor Training and Benefits requirements do not apply to this bid. B. The contract amount resulting from this bid is estimated by the City to exceed $2,000,000.00. At the time of bid submission, all subcontractors proposed to perform more than $50,000.00 of work on this contract: 1.) provide an adequate and affordable health insurance benefit provided by an employer to an employee as defined in City Code 329.01(q); and 2.) provide a retirement or pension plan as part of an overall compensation plan and not as a benefit limited to a specific project as defined in City Code 329.01(mm). If they are a licensed trade subcontractor performing more than $50,000.000 of work on this contract, in addition to 1 and 2, they also meet the quality training criteria as defined in City Code 329.01(gg) and further described in City Code 329.212(d)(2)(c). *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
