Demolition and renovation of a municipal facility in Mansfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility.

The reason for the overall bid rejection is an important aspect of the advertising had been overlooked and town council requested that the project be readvertised correcting the error. The project will be available on Friday January 16, 2026 and will have a new bid opening on February 05, 2026 at 1 0:00am All questions must be submitted via email to mahern@mansfieldma.com and shall have the bid name and project number in the subject line. The deadline for questions will be 10:00AM on January 6, 2026. The Town of Mansfield invites sealed bids from interested contractors for "Various Bids Projects and Services" in Mansfield, Massachusetts, in accordance with attached specifications and documents. The specific bids include: Real Estate Revaluation Update for FY 2027 and Building Demolition and Hazardous Abatement. Wage rates as determined by the Massachusetts Commissioners of the Department of Labor and Industries apply when required. Bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit of at least five percent of the proposal amount, made payable to The Town of Mansfield, in the form of a certified check, bid bond, treasurer's check, or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company. A Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and Certificate of Insurance will be required. Bidding procedures are in accordance with General Laws, Chapter 149 Section 44A through 44J, as amended, and other applicable laws. The project is E-Hosted through Projectdog, Inc., where documents can be downloaded, reviewed, or requested as a project CD. It is the responsibility of the contractor, subcontractor, vendor, or individual to review all addenda prior to bid opening. The Town of Mansfield reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid or portion thereof deemed in the best interest of the Town. Bidders are reminded that Town Officials are not to be contacted regarding the bids or projects prior to the scheduled opening. All inquiries regarding the Request for Bids should be directed to the Public Buildings/Special Projects Manager via email, with the bid name and project number in the subject line.
